"A spacious and unique house with character - I was concerned when I read a review about it being run-down and dated, but that person must have been expexting a Hyatt. This house is right on the river with a wonderful veranda around the side and back, screened porches at each end of the house, a large well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. The eclectic color scheme in the rooms was delightful and there were amazing artifacts and artwork everywhere you looked. The grounds were lovely with lots of native plants and a small platform at the river to sit. The pool wasn't large but had a great deck, partially covered, with a an outside kitchen. The best part though was when the howler monkeys brought their babies to visit on the neighboring veranda - incredible. When i move to Belize next year, i hope i can find a home just like this."

"The rooms were very clean nice staff food was amazing can’t say enough about the staff they were outstanding can’t wait to visit again next year. Had the best taxi driver in Belize Greg the hotel was spectacular."
