"The hotel room was clean. I asked for the eco service but still didn’t receive towels. At check-in I felt very rushed. As I was entering my information, I was asked for my passport, then in reaching for my passport they wanted me typing my information. Three front desk staff talking and explaining while checking in. Difficult getting a taxi. Anytime I went to the desk I was treated like I was bothering them. After traveling throughout Japan, this is not the hospitality of other top Japanese...

"Wow. This was the best hotel stay I have ever had, and I have travelled a lot. The rooms were beautiful, with the most stunning views of the mountains. The balcony with your own private onsen was heaven. The food, coffee, beer and snacks available on the 6th floor were tasty! I also had a massage during my stay and it was one of the best services I have ever had. If I could give this hotel 10 stars I would!! Absolute luxury."

"The room was old and dated. The air conditioning was not effective. It was basically a room stuck in 1980s. The bathroom was also dated and was in need of renovation. The fact that you must use a metal key to open the door should give you a clue the current state of the hotel."
