"I was surprised to find there was no shower/bath in my room and that it was necessary to shower in the communal onsen. For the very high weekend rate of the room, I expected more. However, the staff in the restaurant were attentive to all dietary restrictions and remembered them for each meal."

"This is an old school honestly, but with nicely separated living spaces (shred bathrooms). Not squeaky clean, and a bit outdated…but human and not without charm. The owner is a super courteous dude. You may need a car as it is a few kilometers 40 minute walk from the train station. The payoff is ..."
