The property is clean. The area is safe. 7 min walk to the ferry terminal to go to Caye caulker and San Pedro. Michelle also does a cultural food tour which has food from the 4 main Belize cultures. "What a lovely, magical, & peaceful place. We had a brief one night stay before taking ferry to San Pedro, but fell in love with the fresh & clean room, traditional style of the casitas, two sparkling, secluded pools, the lush grounds & truly exceptional dining at their Martha's Cafe across the street. "The room was clean, air conditioning was cold and staff was great. It was a little hard to locate as it does not have a traditional lobby. The lobby is on the 2nd floor inside the Call center and casino tower. The lobby closes at a certain time and a number to call is posted, althought the staff is responsive."

The hotel don’t choose their guests, but the ones next to us were extremely noisy with the TV on very loud leading to a poor night sleep due to the very thin walls & adjoining door not stopping any of the noise. "This hotel is located about 3-4 blocks from the main part of town (swinging bridge and Sprinter Ferries. The hotel worked fine once we figured out how the controller for the AC worked. We spent 3 nites there; 1 at the start and 2 at the end of out trip our 12 day trip to the cayes. Wondered around town, museums, etc. Not much going on in town. "Just not really worth it. Staff are great, breakfast is real good, even the owner is nice. But, super expensive for where and what it is. Pictures somehow make it all feel bigger even though they’re accurate. Neighborhood is bleak, and the few restaurants in the area happened to be closed all week for Easter."

"This hotel is old and needs updated. Nothing like the pictures in the photo . No elevators and stairs are not manageable especially after a long day of walking around the island. You have to ask for everything including towels. The rooms are dark and cold. No view except to a dirty yard space between buildings. If you are just using it to sleep then this is the hotel for you. It does not feeling like a vacation room on the cayes. Not worth the cost. Very disappointed will never stay here again....

"The air conditioning was solid, the beds comfortable after a long day of beach walking, bike riding and other stuff. The staff were excellent. We had Adrianna and Alicia most of the time and they were super-helpful. Where to rent bikes, where to eat, what time is this or that. I can't say enough about these two women. "We were diverted here for 1 night when the Roatan airport closed due to heavy rain. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's bare bones room, no coffee maker or safe, no elevator. We just needed a place not far from the airport for a quick one night stay. "

"Good bed and pillows. Luxury towels. Liked having mini fridge and a kettle. Milly and her daughter Emily are friendly and helpful. Water pressure was a bit weak but not a major issue for me. Good wifi. No TV but that is not a problem for me either. I would return. 10 minute walk to the airport or ferry. "

"Loved this property. Nice pool. Restaurant and very quiet. Did not mind the walk as its at the far end of the island. Lovely people. Will stay here again beachfront or pool view is a must!"
