"What a great little spot! Very inexpensive, not waterfront, but walking distance to beautiful Sai Keow Beach and Sai Keow Beach Restaurant. Off the beaten path of tourists. Very clean and I loved the Rooster wake up call in the morning! 😊"

Breakfast was delicious and so much variety. The location is quite a long way from attractions but we just used a Grab to travel and it was relatively inexpensive. "

"We liked the room we stayed in. It was so comfortable-from the beds to the kitchen, they thought of every detail. Our balcony felt very private. Loved having laundry in the room. The staff was so friendly and went above and beyond every single time we interacted with them. Excellent property and services! So well maintained. "I was blown away at this resort. The villas were so amazing and my family really enjoyed the pools. We got plenty to eat at breakfast and it was an easy walk to town for any other meal. The staff immediately responded to any issue. The gym facility was small but nice. The beach was lovely and quiet. "

"This was our sixth stay at The Slate, and once again we loved the hotel and its friendly staff. A few minor points: dinner at Tin Mine was disappointing and not up to its usual standard, the gym is slightly worn and could use updates like new treadmills, and the “adults-only” pool had limited seating, with many loungers reserved by absent guests. A simple system where loungers are assigned at check-in could improve this. Overall, we were very satisfied and will definitely return."
