"I had a wonderful time there. It was very peaceful, no noise, only the birds and gekkos :)
The staff was really attentive with the cleaning and breakfast. You can choose from a few options when they bring it to your room.
The view from my room was amazing. I had the panoramic double room. It was spacious, clean and cozy."

"Amazing new bungalows with great view into the jungle. Pool also perfect. Just food menu very basic which makes it harder to enjoy time just in the place. Need for scooter to have dinner in Ubud "

"We had the privilege of staying in a truly authentic home nestled in the heart of the rice fields, owned by the most wonderful family. The mother, an incredible cook, prepared meals that were simply unforgettable, and their on-site restaurant had a charm of its own. Her daughter and the staff were genuinely kind and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The level of care and hospitality they provided made us feel completely at home. "Nice room. Mozzie net required due to gaps in the doors. Property is kept clean and neat although it requires some maintenance. Crack in our main door you could see through. Restaurant was very slow for service by the pool. Staff lovely, lots of tour groups come and stay. Great location to Ubud."
"Great hotel in the centre of Ubud. We had the half board option for convenience around our tight itinerary. The first night we arrived late and missed dinner, the hotel approached as to see if we would like this to be added as lunch/dinner on the day of checkout instead.
Beds were comfortable. My only criticism is that our room was potentially part of an adjoining room. And one evening I could hear my next door neighbour snoring. Soundproofing may not be an issue in other room types."
"Our stay at Ayung Resort was one of the highlights of our Southeast Asia trip. We stayed at around seven different properties, and this was easily our favorite.
The villa exceeded our expectations and looked exactly like the photos—no misleading editing like we experienced at some other places in Bali. The beautiful hand-carved wooden details throughout the room gave it an authentic Balinese feel while still feeling truly luxurious.
The location was perfect. Instead of staying in the busy, crowded Ubud Palace area, we were surrounded by lush forest with the soothing sound of the Ayung River. Waking up to monkeys peacefully going about their morning in the trees was a memorable experience.
The resort grounds are large, beautifully landscaped, and impeccably maintained. Housekeeping was outstanding—the room was spotless every day, and water, toiletries, towels, and everything else were replenished without us ever needing to ask. The buggy service was always quick, and every staff member we met was warm, professional, and genuinely helpful.
We also had the seafood dinner one evening, and it was one of the best meals of our trip. Breakfast was good, although after several mornings the selection became a little repetitive.
Overall, this is what true luxury feels like: beautiful surroundings, authentic Balinese craftsmanship, exceptional service, and attention to every detail. Every dollar felt well spent, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended for any"
"I had a great stay, rooms were very clean, the building is old but very well maintained, staff are super nice and helpful. Location is excellent and everything is at walking distance. Only thing that was very annoying was the shower, the head is fixed and not adjustable meaning if you are a short person like me you will have difficulty washing your hair! Other than that it was a great stay, highly recommended."
"Was a beautiful time. Next door to yoga barn was a great surprise. Location was amazing and within walking distance to many things. Very helpful friendly staff. Lots of options for food on grounds including gelato. AC worked great. Friendly staff who were attentive and helpful. Well manicured grounds. Little touches like bug lotion and sunscreen. Nice quality bath products. Beautiful pools. Good blow dryers and they loaned me a converter for power. Tooth brushes provided. Just really amazing overall. Was thrilled with my choice. No regrets. Happily would stay again. Dragon fruit bowl and cappuccino were my go tos for breakfast. My son is PICKY and he only wanted to eat at the hotel. Good mix of North American options, but also fresh local. Good prices. No complaints at all"
"We got the room with pool. It was bigger than expected which was a pleasant surprise, and the room itself was spacious. The buffet breakfast was great quality with a variety of options. The highlight was the service provided by staff; everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. Very sad to leave this resort."
"I loved it! From the staff to the location in Ubud! I was upgraded to a bigger room and had a nice balcony
Be aware of the monkeys!!! They are literally are the location climbing the trees. They r the cutest, treat them with respect."
"If you're debating whether to book this resort, just do it! My husband and I had an amazing stay. The room was incredibly luxurious, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed. We also loved the beautiful architecture and the thoughtful attention to detail throughout the property.
The staff were warm, attentive, and always more than happy to help with anything we needed, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We also loved the nightly turndown service, especially the thoughtful mini treats left in the room—it was such a lovely touch.
The location is another big plus. It's just a short distance from Ubud Center, making it very convenient to explore the area's shops, restaurants, and attractions while still enjoying a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere at the resort.
The spa was excellent and definitely one of the highlights of our stay. My only suggestion would be to offer a few more Western breakfast options, such as bacon and sausage.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!"
