There is nothing better than a homely well run family hotel and Fleischers is exactly that. There is a super strong team spirit focused on delivering first class service. The hotel has so much character but has still managed to modernise sympathetically. Rooms were lovely. Pool was amazing and warm! The views were to die for even in the showers. Breakfast was simply lovely and I enjoyed everything with pots of English breakfast tea.

Brilliant stay. Very clean, comfortable, modern and spacious. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location next to the train and bus station. A few minutes walk from bars/restaurants/lake/hiking trails. On site restaurant meals were delicious.

Lovely Viking themed room complete with animal skin bed throw. Clean room albeit a few ants to help us enjoy the nature of the area. Stunning views with walks, kayaking etc. Breakfast was excellent.

We have booked in the annex building a little bit away from the main hotel area. At the reception, we have been upgraded to the main building in a better room. Staff is very nice, the facility in good shape and the area amazing.

Travelled to these apartments for a family ski holiday. Apartments lovely and new, plenty of communal space, full size fridge and oven/hob. Bedrooms on the small side and no wardrobes, just drawers and hooks.
Hotel just next door with facilities - 2 restaurants, gym and swimming pool.
Bit more of a walk to the ski bus stops than we realised but proximity to town and shops etc meant this location worked well for us.

Fantastic service, great hotel, cozy lobby with fireplaces and massive sofas with throws to relax at, free tea and coffee in the lobby, nice bar. We were off-season, travelling around Norway, absolutely loved it. The beds are super comfortable, had great night sleep. We went hiking around the nearby lake, beautiful trail in deep Norwegian woods, met a troll on the way.
