"The pull out bed was not made and had crumbs all over it. The person checking me in seemed bored and I had to repeat myself multiple times. The bed is right next to the AC and the toilet seat was super loose. Breakfast was cold and watery tasting, the omelette was great though..overall would not stay again."
Boarders Inn & Suites by Cobblestone Hotels - Syracuse
10/10 Excellent
"What a wonderful hotel to find, stay in such s small community. The room we had was spacious and comfortable with a large bathroom. We immensely enjoyed the use of the dark window shades. The parking lot was large and the breakfast though limited to cereal, waffles or packaged food was okay.
The only complaint was not of the hotel but having rude guests talking above their running vehicles at 5 am.
We would recommend this hotel to stay."
"The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We used the breakfast room for a family gathering in the afternoon and evening while there and had the restaurant next door cater. The hotel was very helpful and accommodating in making sure we had what we needed. Will stay here again."
"The Front Desk staff at Clarion was exceptional! Very friendly and knowledgeable. I found the property to be clean and well maintain for the price point. Will definitely be staying there again!"
"The ice machine was broken, the balcony for the second floor was held up by beams. The sheets were clean but worn with holes in them. Behind the bathroom door was dirt and hadn't been cleaned in some time. The continental breakfast was muffins, banana and juice in a brown paper bag. I would not recommend staying here unless you just need a cheap hotel that is a place to sleep and nothing else."
"The staff was fairly nice at first but the quality of the room was terrible, pictures will explain. I talked to them about the poor quality of the room and advertising a pool online but not communicating until I got there that the pool was closed. They responded by telling me I could swim in it even though their cleaning pump was broken and the pool was disgusting. Then when I tried to change my booking to a new hotel (through hotels.com) and the manager were terribly uncooperative. It took 3 and a half hours of phone calls to get a new booking because they kept trying to find alternative ways to keep me staying there.
I think this establishment needs to be renovated completely before anyone else stays there."
