Bummer of a stay At Colesberg South Africa.

To begin. There is no reception area. We had to turn our phone on since we had to call long distance. That cost us $10.00 He then came and let us in. The room is very crude and formed from an older house or something. We never could get tv to work. There was no exercise room. No pool, no reception area at all. The creek across the street was horrible and had a fence in front of it just in case we wanted to go for a suicide walk. We were charged more than $46 for this room. Last night we stayed at the Golden Sun Casino and it was only $54. Encourage someone from Hotels.com to go view this room. If you did, I feel certain you would refund my money. The entire room smelled like cat urine and it was terrible.

Our room was fine and it was great to have the complete DSTV options. We couldn't pick up any WiFi networks as promised which was disappointing. The bathroom door didn't close properly and the fridge was a little noisy but I would say it was value for money. Thanks PS I would also suggest that you have a lamp in the room as sitting with the main light on, was quite bright.

A great pet friendly guest house

It was a very nice place to stay, much better than I expected for the price. Very comfortable and the hosts were very friendly and helpful.
