"The staff were friendly and helpful from check-in. The facilities were clean and modern. The view from the room was beautiful, and the beach was lovely. The dinner buffet could have offered more variety and better options, but breakfast was much better."
"Best all inclusive buffet food we have ever had; the nicest staff; lovely beach. Premium room was very nice and lots of activities around the resort - table tennis, pool, giant chess, snakes and ladders, noughts and crosses etc.. "
"Perfect location for a relaxed holiday by the Indian ocean.
This boutique hotel is small but beautifully appointed, with great facilities. The Bang On The Beach room offered incredible views across the bay out to the reefs. We were lulled to sleep every night by the waves and woken up every morning by the sunrise over the sea. Perfection. And that easterly sea breeze meant no mosquitos too, which is very welcome for a tropical location!
The food and service were all impeccable. Special mention to Heeroo who was very attentive and looked after us every day with exemplary service on the beach or by the pool.
Tek Tek was fantastic, Dev and Ravi put on a great night with exceptional food. Although we were on the All Inclusive package we were glad we spent a little extra for that, well worth the price (which is very reasonable coming from the UK/Europe).
Overall the food was fantastic. Lots of options to choose from on the All Inclusive package and plenty of others if you fancy splashing out a bit more. We were lucky to be there for Salt's 7th anniversary and were treated to a unique special menu.
We'll definitely be back to Mauritius and will almost certainly stay at Salt of Palmar again. "
"We absolutely loved our stay at LUX Belle Mare. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was very clean, and our room was spotless and well equipped. Even after checking out, we were able to use all the facilities for the day, and the hotel provided a shower room before our evening flight. We’d definitely recommend staying here."
"We had a beachfront room with ocean view which was lovely. Spacious, clean and well equipped. Lovely views. Food was fabulous, plenty of choice and great quality. Plenty of sunbeds to choose from at the pool and on the beach, never any shortage. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful and the service was generally very efficient. There were a few minor niggles. The online check in process didn't work smoothly. It was not clear whether the passport upload had worked or not. Nevertheless we were still able to check in early and our room was ready well ahead of the official check in time.
We were astonished to find that our all inclusive package did not include any sparking wines at all, even though it did include about 30-40 different wines. However a chat with the Bar manager soon resolved this positively which we appreciated very much. However, getting a glass of the sparkling wine was a bit of a faf, always having to ask the sommelier who then had to fetch it from the locked wine room!! Another slight niggle was always having to ask the staff in the beach bar for the umbrellas by the pool to be opened (they were large and required a special handle which was kept by the staff) and often there was some delay because they were serving - it would have been better for them to be put up automatically first thing in the morning rather than waiting for someone to ask every time. Despite these minor niggles we had a wonderful time at C.Mauritius and would highly recommend it. "
"Loved every aspects of our stay, a great vibe, amazing service, caring staffs at a super cool location, Heritage Awali is a gem in beautiful Bel Ombre. Will undoubtedly return again"
"A short overnight stop close the airport. The room was clean and comfy and the staff very helpful. Just meters from the beach at blue bay which was an unexpected delight. "
"Friendly staffs , ready to assist , breakfast menu should be alternated daily and dinner buffet at 2,500 Mauritius currency per each adult was quite high. "
