"Moxy Madison is a fun, energetic hotel with a very friendly and welcoming staff. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to coming back in the future. The only quibbles I have are (1) the motion activated bathroom light, which turned on in the middle of the night and always turned off while I was taking a shower, and (2) the lack of storage for clothes and belongings. Otherwise, nothing but praise from me! "

"For a BIG graduation weekend-where you were charging us 3x more then the average price - the breakfast variety was terrible, only oranges for fruit as an option. No yogurt, no healthy options. The coffee was always out. There wasn’t even a coffee pot in our room for an option. How they clean is they “spray” EVERY area with a scent- no real cleaning was done. The temperature was all over the place- some areas where cold and other areas in the hotel were HOT! Would not stay again!!"

"This B&B is alright. The rooms are a nice size. Staff is friendly. The drink tickets are a nice touch. It's a little off the beaten path. A decent view if you're facing the water. The train goes by and is very loud (though they do provide ear plugs & candy). My biggest issue is that everything smells like old, stale cigarettes. People smoke outside on the patio of the restaurant and on the hotel balconies which will inevitably waft in. It is very old and I think decades of people smoking in those rooms and halls means that until all of the carpet and wallpaper is removed it will likely always smell faintly of stale cigarettes. I am sensitive to the smell and knew that changing my room would not help the situation. This a little thing, but the bathroom towels are so far away from the shower and there are no hooks by the shower. I aprpeciate that it's a funky little place and that's why I booked it. I was not expecting everything to be prestine. But the smell is hard to tolerate."
