"We’ve been staying at this hotel almost every year for about the last six. It’s always been an outstanding property. I have to say this year I noticed quite a bit of deterioration of the property. The carpets and chairs in the lobby are badly stained, and it appeared the A/C wasn’t working either. The landscaping on the front side of the building is nothing but overgrown weeds. The toilet in our room ran constantly. Granted this didn’t necessarily impede our stay, but it doesn’t present the place too well. I’m not sure if ownership has changed or what caused this. The room itself seemed clean and the staff was pleasant."

"It was a nice one night stay. The staff was friendly, the room clean and nice sized. There are several places to eat within walking distance. The halls can be a bit tricky to navigate; a map would have been nice. I don't anticipate visiting Somerset again but if I do, I would definitely consider this property."

"This place appears to have had a nice facelift. The lobby and breakfast area were clean and bright. The room and fixtures were clean and bright. The hot breakfast was very good. Lots of selection from continental to a complete hot breakfast including oatmeal and warm sticky buns! We will definitely stay here again."
