"I do recommend this apartment, but my experience was very mixed, with clear positives and negatives. I stayed from Dec 25, 2025 to Jan 1, 2026. The apartment itself is large, well equipped, and very well maintained — excellent in this regard. The location is also outstanding: right in downtown Ushuaia, close to restaurants, shops, and the port, making it very easy to get around on foot. However, there were some significant issues. "The view was great overlooking the bay and (for now) there were no tall buildings in front, so I was very happy. However, don't expect too much in terms of cleanliness. The room I stayed in had a very hard time unlocking the front door, sandy floors, missing blinds, a slightly moldy bed, and a broken bedside light and USB port. This apartment might be a good choice for a large group, but if you're traveling alone like me, there are better options."
