Bravo pour la déco !

Nous avons séjourné dans la chambre violette ! Car chaque chambre a une couleur ! C'est très original ! Très stylé ! C'est calme et confortable et la salle de bain est top !!!

Unique character, but avoid during heatwaves

"Inn" with bar downstairs and about 8 rooms up. I was staying here during a severe heat wave so just had to suffer through the night with a room fan and by drinking lots of water. Nearby grocer, bakery, bus to train. Double twisting stairs were treacherous.

Tot mijn spijt moet ik concluderen dat ik er zeker niet zal terugkeren. Zowel het restaurant als de kamer zag er overwegend zwart uit, heel somber. Personeel was welwillend maar niet professioneel. Het leukste aan de kamer vond ik het zitje in het raam.

Try the Rooms at Badhu!

Badhu is a lovely restaurant featuring an eclectic selection of moroccan-inspired tapas-like dishes. There are also a small number of rooms above the restaurant labeled by colors. I stayed three nights in the Witte Kamer (white room) and enjoyed my stay. The rooms come with comfortable beds, minibar, and a big bathtub plus shower. On the negative side the "industrial style" hallway is a bit dark and creepy. One note of caution inside the rooms: there is a step down from the bathroom to the bedroom proper and the wash basin is situated inside the shower area so there is a floor rim to step over. Also, the cement floor in the rooms is cold and could use carpeting. The surrounding neighborhood is very nice.

Great location - bus stop outside hotel is a direct line to Utrecht Central or downtown. Eclectic hotel - very good restaurant on first floor. Local area - grocery store next door, small park across the street. Rooms were clean and creatively furnished. Very nice hotel

Geen eigen parkeergelegenheid, auto kan alleen in de openbare ruimte (parkeervakken) betaald geparkeerd worden. Vriendelijke ontvangst. Nette, schone kamer. Helaas zat de douchekop half verstopt zodat van de regendouche niet veel meer overbleef dan enkele stralen! Verder ook genoten van een heerlijk ontbijtje.

Great find just out of the centre of Utrecht

Spent 3 nights in Utrecht with friends on a weekend holiday. While Badhu offer hotel rooms as well, we booked the 2 bedroom apartment, which turned out to be via a private entrance situated above the restaurant downstairs. The apartment had a various spacious sitting room and kitchen area, with plenty of windows and natural light coming in. There was also a small balcony, although due to weather we weren't able to use it. The apartment could be best described as 'trendy' with interesting seating and exposed brickwork. The bedrooms were somewhat small, however with the spacious sitting and dining areas this was not a concern. There was a small kitchen supplied with crockery and cutlery, a combination oven/microwave unit and a refrigerator. There was no stove top, however other than that it was a perfectly functional kitchen area for our needs over 3 days. There was also a Nespresso style coffee machine with some coffee pods provided. There was a decent sized grocery store just a 1 minute walk away which we used to buy more and breakfast items. The location was about a 15 minute walk from the centre where all the action is, or a bus ride from across the street. Would recommend this over two more expensive hotel rooms elsewhere if the number of beds work for you.

Osvětlení pro práci v pokoji bylo méně výhodné. Lednička byla milým překvapením.

Nachtje weg

Inchecken duurde lang, kamers vielen tegen, al met al bijzonder tegenvallend nachtje weg. Parkeren voor auto koste ook nog vollop geld, de eerste keer dat we dit meemaken. Tevens een oplader vergeten welke we niet terug krijgen.

Leuke kamer

Leuke blauwe kamer, leuke sfeer enige nadeel is dat de regen douche open is in de badkamer dus dat alles helemaal nat word, en dat er niet even word gewaarschuwd dat er een afstapje is als je je kamer binnen komt waardoor je je gelijk lekker verstapt
