The hotel was magical, spiritual even. The grounds, buildings and interior decor were beautiful. Breakfast was lovely, dinner exceptional (including service). The town is close, compact, convenient. We would return without hesitation and warmly recommend the experience.

Wonderful stay in a quaint little town. I would recommend picking a room that has a shower or bathtub/shower in stead of a room with just a bathtub.

Lovely traditional hotel. We stayed in the remote building which was equally as nice as main hotel. Ate on terrace overlooking lake which was a great setting.

Fantastic location on the lakefront! Wonderful café with outdoor seating, offering a truly amazing selection of authentic Swedish pastries, cookies and cakes. The breakfast buffet was one of the most spectacular we have ever seen in Sweden during the past 25+ years, served in an ancient hall with arches and beautiful windows. And the free parking was right outside the door to our hotel building! FIVE STARS!!

Lovely city

A nice location. I was not overly happy with the check in . They could have given me more information. Not being from Sweden I didn’t understand everything. Ideas for food and drink would have been helpful.

Fantastisk välbevarad miljö och väldigt trevlig personal. En viss avloppslukt och väldigt mjuka sängar drar ned betyget något. Mycket bra frukost!
