"This hotel is located just on the outskirts of the charming village of Roissy and less than 10mins taxi from CDG airport. It's a budget hotel and the rooms and setting reflect this. The price of the hotel rooms reflects its target market which is ideal if you arrive late into CDG and need overnight accommodation. Food service is good and food quality is fine too served until almost 11pm, well done on this aspect. Single rooms are spartan regarding in room facilities although a room safe and slightly better pillows would be better. Staff are very friendly and well turned out which is a plus and the continental breakfast is good value at €8. Beer options on tap are not great so I had a carafe of wine after a dodgy first pint of beer. The rooms themselves are not sound insulated to the standard expected and its easy to hear what adjoining guests are doing. A large building site next door which is at an advanced stage of competition doesn't help with trying to have a lie on in bed after a long journey. Cheap and cheerful best describes this hotel so dont expect luxury, especially in the bedroom. The staff are the best thing about this hotel but if budget travel is your thing this hotel might be just ideal."
"Quick overnight stay. Nice clean hotel, room overlooked the atrium. Enjoyed a late night meal at the restaurant. The desk clerk gave me a chit for paid parking but when I tried to get out of the parking lot the chit wouldn’t work so ended up having to pay with a card to get out. Overall would recommend this hotel. A suggestion is to have luggage racks."
"I really like the Penta and stay frequently when I’m passing through Paris or on a layover. The lobby has a cozy lounge with a bar, pool table, and comfortable furnishings. The locals from the village of Roissy sometimes gather here in the evening so it has a friendly community feeling. A lovely park is immediately adjacent behind the hotel, and a quiet 10 minute walk beneath the trees will get you to bakeries, grocery, and restaurants in the village. Restaurant in the Penta is pretty good and there are quite a few dining options nearby.
At this time (2026) they offer a “shuttle” which an arrangement with uber for a discounted one way fare of 9 euros to CDG. You pay the hotel directly when reserve at the front desk. In theory you get a link to confirm your uber reservation but I’ve found more often than not I haven’t received one. It’s easy to remedy, just remind a staff a little before your departure and they”ll get the uber on it’s way.
The Penta is a pleasant surprise for an airport hotel, highly recommend."
"Arrived at hotel after a late night flight. Traveling with a 10 and 12 year old who were hungry. No food options inside hotel for late arrival guests. The following morning, I requested the front desk worker to call us a taxi to take us close to the Eiffel Tower to another hotel we booked for our second day. The clerk immediately started text messaging someone and then stepped away from the counter to speak on a phone call. He returned and told me the taxi would bring us for $85 euro which is insane. I ended up booking with Uber for $45 euro. I took my family and exited the gated hotel facility and waited near the road. Less than a minute after the Uber request, the ride was accepted and the driver approached from inside the hotel complex. Well, I've never claimed to be the most intelligent but I suspect the Uber driver is also the taxi driver working with the front desk worker. Regardless, I suspect the hotel will not endorse this scam-type behavior. Use caution with hotel staff."
