"The hotel is a pleasant surprise! We had a room On the 1st floor, it was clean and spacious, the aircon worked really well and there was a mini fridge in the room too! The only two negatives were the floors needed a better sweep in the room and instead of one pillow each they give you one long pillow and this just isn’t the most comfortable. We would absolutely stay again, we stayed to visit Parque Warner, the park was easy to get to but we weren’t able to catch a bus back due to the buses not running to this area in the evening from the park."

"Loved this Parador. Reception desk on arrival were so helpful. Swimming pool was so nice to relax. The gardens were super and we were told, at the desk, to also stroll around them in the evening, which we did. Splendid! Rooms were spotless and spacious, so thank you staff behind the scenes. Loved Chinchon a small but fascinating town made better by this beautiful hotel. The only downside was the evening meal, which was disappointing. Might have been our choice of steak rather than local cuisine. English spoken at the desk but not in the town, so have google translate or marry a linguist like I did!"

"This is a beautiful hotel, very well maintained and exceptionally clean. The de luxe room we had was spacious and had a screened terrace. We have stayed here 3 times before and will use it again. We didn't eat in the hotel so I can't vouch for the food."

"We arrived very late with 2 large dogs, the host was lovely, even though she didn’t speak English we managed to communicate……the parking was down a steep hill so if you have bags to carry along with 2 dogs, dog food, dog bed ect ect it’s wise to drop the bags off at the front first, the food was excellent (we had a burger and potato croquettes and the red wine was lovely too, they allowed us to eat with the dogs next to us as there is a nice stop to the side of the restaurant…..the views were breathtaking to say the least, from room 5 you look out to a lovely horizon in the morning, we lovely it so much we plan to return on our way home after our holiday. Very dog friendly and would highly recommend"

"Few tips if you are going here: - If you want to eat lunch or dinner in the restaurant on site you have to whatsapp them to reserve a table. Do this as early as possible - we arrived mid afternoon and messaged asking for a table - no reply. When we went directly to the restaurant, we were told no as we didnt have a reservation even though it was half empty. So we had to leave and find somewhere off site- you have to have a car for this as others have said it is off grid. - Reception is a toll booth type box in the middle of the complex - they shut the windows so it does look shut but it isnt. - Others have mentioned the smell, it isnt unbearable but is noticeable. - It is quiet and the lodges are comfortable but not doable without a car and the ability to use whatsapp!"
