"Lovely hotel very attentive staff serving up excellent breakfast and dinner.Plenty of comfortable rooms with good seating.Beautiful garden at the rear with plenty of shaded seating a quiet oasis.Good parking for a city centre hotel."
"Good value hotel ,friendly staff , great views of sunsets , excellent breakfast . comfortable rooms and loads of parking . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there ."
"The room and en-suite were lovely - beautifully appointed and very quiet. Just what we needed. The staff went out of their way to help. There are three car parks and we had no trouble parking. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of food for every taste.
There are three restaurants, The Ocean, The Steak House and Buho (serving Mexican food). Sadly, The Ocean was only open one night during our four night stay as the fish dishes there were excellent. Seemed such a shame as Guernsey is famous for it's seafood. One niggle about The Steak House: the red wine was served warm - but the staff did provide some crushed ice to help!
One point not related to the hotel but one to note - although parking everywhere is free you need to display a time clock on your dashboard to show what time you arrived in the car park and car parks are divided into different length stays. Be warned! We had no idea how this operated and found that you can buy the clocks (£6)either from the Tourist Information Bureau or the Police Station.
All in all, a lovely hotel and a beautiful island to visit."
"Big spacious hotel with good amenities, great breakfast choices and friendly staff. Loved the free use of the spa facilities during our stay. The room furniture is dated and with no room aircon so it can get hot at night but that’s the only criticism."
"We had a great stay in guernsey and Cobo bay hotel was really nice, staff were friendly and accommodating, the menu was nice although we eat at various places around the island and all where great.
Although the room was a little tired it was clean with lots of little extras, the slipper and robes where a nice touch.
We hear the hotel is getting a refurbishment soon and we are planning to return next year and seeing how things have changed."
