"Had a great stay, Staff, Room and Hotel in genral all excellent, loved the quirky decor and how close it is to Grote Markt and restaurants and bars. "

"The location is good, steps away from restaurants, the Friday street market and shops and 15 min. walking to the train and bus station. The place is also quiet even with the Friday night crowd nearby. The dark panels and deco inside the room look creepy. The staff can only be contacted via a tablet at the front desk. The key cards do not always work: GET TWO CARDS even if you travel alone."

Upon check in I was presented with a list of rules (empty bins, strip beds on departure amongst others) and asked for a €400 deposit for any potential breakages of which couldn’t be processed due to restrictive refund policies. The attitude and lack of help and welcome from staff was the worst I’ve ever experienced. No attempt to understand or put things right. The propertiy was amazing just like the pictures. "The hotel was a good standard travel lodge kind of place, nothing too special but totally suitable for what I needed. Only issue was the restaurant closed at 8pm and there was no iron in the room but other than that is was perfectly adequate for my needs. Road noise was also an issue but given where the hotel is located i am not surprised. Would I stay here again...... probably yes."
