"I had a last mini snafu with my actual reservation and was told upon arrival my reservation was not valid as location does not use Expedia. Immediately I was able to find another booking and made same day reservation at Hotel Federico II. I immediately called hotel after reservation was made and they set up an adjoining room to accommodate our family and even set up a rolling bed to accommodate our five people. "Very nice room for a brief stopover in Ancona. The staff were friendly and the free breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had. No kettle or fridge was a bit annoying. Hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the ferry terminal so it was very convenient as a spot to stay the night before, lots of supermarkets nearby too."
