"Misleading advertisement and management didn’t respond when we complained. I booked a cabin via hotels.com at Finca el Mazo for my family including our two young children. It was advertised as being family friendly with lots of activities including swimming pool, football, games room and basketball. "Stayed in the hotel for two days mid-September during family trip to north of Spain. Hotel is located within a few minutes from old town still close to very good restaurants. We spend a few hours with a drink in the hand just watching the waterfront view from our window! Parking is external but is very convenient and has an elevator directly into the hotel - better than some hotel parking I've seen. Very attentive stuff, we got a welcome gift that we appreciated very much! Room cleaning was done really well and thorough. Overall - exceptional experience and will not hesitate to book Vincci Puertochico hotel if I end up in Santander one more time!"

"The hotel and property were spectacular. I would highly recommend! My only issue was I wasn't able to set the thermostat to blow cold air; I tried all the settings and even placed it in auto mode. The room was a toasty 24 and it never went down from there, even when I tried setting it to 15. My wife also could smell cigarette smoke coming in our room when we had the windows open, clearly from other guests. That was a little bit annoying, but the hotel was first rate other than these minor inconveniences."
