Like: 1. The staff, Erica was the best. She was very helpful and she made sure we are enjoying and comfortable. 2. Location 3. Very clean Didn’t Like: the room is already outdated, especially the bathroom. It works but it would help to make it look nicer.

スタッフが誰もいない・異なるホテルを案内される・部屋が傾いている

ホテルの場所が看板も無く非常にわかりにくかった上、ホテル入り口のドアに鍵がかかってチェックインできなかった。その後、偶然別の宿泊客がホテルに来たのでスタッフの連絡先を教えてもらうことができ、予定より1時間遅れてスタッフに会えた。 しかしながら、カナルビューの部屋を予約したのに、部屋が空いてない等と同じ系列の別のホテル(レジデンツァ・ラグーナ)を案内された。そのホテルの部屋は目にも見えてはっきりと傾いており、ペットボトルなどは勢いよく転がり、部屋やクローゼットのドアも歪んでいた。起床時にベッドから起き上がると、部屋が傾いているため、そのまま前に転倒しそうになった。

Do Not Trust!

Despite multiple emails weeks in advance to confirm our room, as well as three calls (answered after multiple attempts but did speak three times) the day of our arrival to make arrival arrangements, they had NO room for us when we arrived at 5:00pm! They took us to another hotel, which was a MUCH further walk from the Vaporetto stop and not remotely comparable to the room we had booked. Disappointed and frustrated doesn’t begin to describe what this turned into despite the laborious planning on our end in trying to arrange for this place, close to the Vaporetto and with canal views. We received neither! Do not trust that you will get what you book - look elsewhere!

La prenotazione è. Andata tutto ok arrivati sul posto. Della prenotazione non ne sapeva nessuno abbiamo atteso 1 ora Per capire se dovevamo andarci a cercare un altra soluzione con il prelievo già fatto dalla carta di credito. In breve ha non trovato la prenotazione ma presso un altra struttura. Di proprietà dello stesso titolare" la campana" insomma una bella avventura non certo da consigliare

Did not get what I paid for :(

We arrived to Residenzia at 7 a.m. no power, returned 1:00 p.m. couldn't reservation, returned at 3 at this time they moved us to another Hotel Ca'gottardi (5 minutes). Hotel Ca'ottardi was ok very small room and no view for sure not what we paid for. This is the second time this happens with a booking with Hotels.com

Nicht empfehlenswert

Wir fanden das Hotel nur mit Hilfe der Hausnummern, denn es ist nicht wirklich ein Hotel. Als wir es dann endlich gefunden hatten, mussten wir beinahe 2 Stunden auf unseren Zimmerschlüssel warten, da unsere Buchung zwar vorhanden, aber nicht in ihrem System war. Schliesslich im Zimmer mussten wir feststellen, dass es einen enormen Unterschied zwischen den Fotos im Internet und der Realität gab. Immerhin war es gross. Die Installationen im Bad sind allesamt ersetzungsbedürftig da verrostet oder sonstwie beschädigt. Beim Schrank fehlt der Schlüssel und man musste ihn vorsichtig mit den Fingernägeln öffnen. WiFi ist vorhanden - TV nur in italienisch. Frühstück ist ok. Aber das Zimmer wurde nicht aufgeräumt! Und dann kam der Hammer: Für die letzte Nacht mussten wir doch tatsächlich in ein anderes Haus umziehen!! Ein Zimmer in einem Haus ohne Reception, ohne WiFi ohne Menschenseele. Das Frühstück mussten wir uns im ersten Haus suchen. Eine Entschuldigung? Fehlanzeige.

Enttäuschendes Gesamtpaket!

Das Hotel war nicht dort, wo es sein sollte. Wir waren in einem ausgelagerten, völlig neuen Zimmer in einem noch nciht fertig renovierten Wohnhaus, weil das Hotel anscheinend ausgebucht war. Zwar war die Lage super und das Zimmer sauber, aber es gab dort zunächst kein WLan und der Safe funktionierte nicht. Jedenfalls war es kein Superior Double Room, wie gebucht. Außerdem hatten wir keinen Blick auf einen der Kanäle, sondern auf einen Innenhof. Das Frühstück war wirklich schlecht und noch dazu 10 MInuten zu Fuß entfernt. Der Service war okay, aber nicht so toll, wie im Internet beschrieben. Insgesamt war das Hotel eine Enttäuschung.

Close to Rialto Bridge - Convenient and ok.

No-one at reception when we arrived. As this hotel is just a doorway I can appreciate it may not always be open, but when you are expecting guests (which they asked for confirmation of time arriving by e-mail before we left the UK) you would think that reception would be manned. There was a buzzer and other buttons to push but we tried them all. Then phoned the hotel and someone answered - we will be there in just a minute. It was a short wait but now already annoyed. Must say the room was lovely, clean and tidy and looked very grand. Breakfast room ? well it was on the landing outside our door. 4 very small tables and minimum buffet for breakfast, but in saying that, was fine for me as I don't usually have much anyway. (Had a Croissant) Checking out day we were advised we could leave our case and pick up before 6pm, the girl at reception said she would be there all day till then. Guess what she wasn't ...so as our stay started it also ended, again trying to get into the hotel, luckily another couple came along and we went in with them.

Terrible Place !!

Our experience was terrible, when we arrived to the hotel any body are there, we had to wait. When we made the reservation Expedia call to the hotel and verify that our reservation was in the main building, we pay in full, when we made the check in with our reservation pay in full they said that we have to pay $ 250.00 more, each night like $ 180.00 per night, we want to call to Expedia and they in any moment help in this matter, only said " if do not pay the difference, no room" The room was in a far building where they only have 4 empty rooms and we lost the electricity continuously. We did not have communication, no electricity, no WI FI and there any staff, my husband was walking in the morning to the main building, they coming and review the electricity and I have a big discussion with the staff and the electricity continuous in the same situation, he call to the owner and he send to an apartment in good condition but along and to far the main building where we had the breakfast. We lost the three days in this situation.

Very disappointing experience.

Arrived to find no answer on the door, not a hotel but a B and B . Proprietor arrived and told us we were not staying there but a 10 minute walk away. Our accommodation was NOT anything like the website images. Very small room, pokey very little space for clothes, only one bedside light, no drinking glasses and one small piece of soap. We had to walk to breakfast everyday. This trip was a special present for my friends 60th birthday and we expected to have a room similar to those shown on the Expedia website. I was very upset by the room. We were too tired that evening to argue but the next day we were told there were no more rooms available so we had no choice but to stay there.

The staff were friendly. But I coundn't feel their sincerity. My room was changed from what I booked; canal view type to standard. All of them said they need to dis uss with their manager, and he finally didn't show up. No refund. I and my family were just disappointed

This is a small guest house staff were only around at breakfast and in the afternoon. Rooms were very basic no kettle or drinks facilities. Breakfast very basic and served on the landing outside the bedrooms. From the outside there is no sign to say it's a guesthouse just a door in a shopping centre. Very noisy outside all night and early morning.

Al llegar nos dicen que la habitación no se encuentra alli, sino a unos 200 metros, si avisaran esto te lo esperas y lo asumes, pero no avisaron, el desayuno era en rivo alto y la habitacion estaba más cerca de san marco

Not a hotel

In walking distance from everything but this place IS NOT A HOTEL. It's a bed and breakfast. There is no 'reception' only a large cup board with a desk. The breakfast is made in the landing on the first floor which consists of a fridge a dresser and a kettle. The second landing has 4 small tables on where you have breakfast. You can touch the bedrooms from the tables. The breakfast is cheese, ham and croissants and the only thing warm is the toast. If you want a cheap b&b this is ideal but honestly I wouldn't give it 2 stars as a hotel.

まず、2人の旅行者から3名に変わった事がエクスペディアさんから伝わってなかったようです。念のためミラノから確認の電話をしました。エクスペディアさんは部屋は3人でも値段は変わりませんと言われましたが、エクストラベッド代はしっかり払わされました。この料金はそちらからの払い戻しはあるのですか?はじめに行ったホテルは 3人部屋はないからと系列の別ホテルに連れていかれ、スーツケースを持ってあがるのは大変な狭い階段を上り、 やっと着いた部屋は赤と金の部屋、もっとシックな色の部屋はないのかと尋ねると無いとのことでした。まるで映画やTVドラマのセットのような所で部屋とは言えないところでした、こんなところに泊まらなければいけないのかと思い、私は泣いてしまいました。ただ、一つ良かったのはサンマルコ広場に近かったことです。もうエクスペディアには二度と頼みません。

Centrally located, great price, friendly staff...

The staff was very friendly. Ultimately they said there was an issue with the restroom so we stayed at the sister hotel to the Rivo Alto across the canal, so this review is more for them. Both hotels are in a great, central location walking distance to all the major sites. It was really hard to find the Rivo Alto... the street name was not listed on this website or on our confirmation page. The GPS coordinates listed in our confirmation email were for the wrong hotel. Very confusing and with no cell service it took us over an hour to find it so get the info straight before you get to Venice! Neither hotel was fancy but they were both centrally located and all we needed. For the low rate we could not complain! The AC worked well, the bed was comfy and the room was older but clean. The staff was very friendly, helpful and had great (non-touristy) recommendations for dinners. I would recommend them for an affordable and central option in Venice!

Small and nice B&B witch was pretty much hidden in the middle of the street, the host Stephanie was very helpful and pleasant. The room was wonderful ,comfortable, clean and cozy. I would for sure stay there again.
