"We went there as an alternative to staying in an ibis , the renovation of this chateau was great, although the rooms are hot no air conditioning or fans provided, we asked about dinner and they said yes but the meals were limited and we’re heated by a micro wave , the staff tried hard and we’re pleasant , when we got there the door was locked (after 4.00pm) and took a while to get in touch with them. Very comfortable bed though traditional bolster with huge pillow and bed covers could be replaced. The restaurant food was very good but our steak order was taken by an unpleasant man. Breakfast was good but with offhand service from a different man. Never felt valued guests. "
