"As others have stated in their reviews this hotel is under construction and not finished. So be prepared for no parking, loud construction starting at 8am. Construction debris everywhere that my wife tripped on. When i called to ask for my pass code to get in the hotel the hotel representative was very rude, when i asked about parking he stated i was supposed to pay ahead of time, that wasn't an option. He suggested i pay the property manager, however there wasn't one when ask for the passcode...

There was plenty of room with both a sitting and dining area, a reasonable size bathroom and small but adequate kitchen with crockery, cutlery and pots, etc. The unit is close to the centre of town, the lake and the station. "Our 3 kids enjoyed the pool and the restaurant was excellent. It was also very handy having the option to reserve your bakery order for pickup each morning along with take out pizzas. Very comfortable 3 nights and the town of Ascona was lovely"

Matteo the manager of the apartments is so knowledgeable and friendly that you can't help but be inspired to visit some the many varied and beautiful places he speaks of so passionately. Apartment is inexpensive and a great place to stay. It is simple and clean and has everything you need. It is good value for money. Parking on site is an asset too. We intend to go back next year. "

"This hotel was very expensive and highly overrated. The beds were uncomfortable. No amenities in the rooms. Towels were thin and worn and they only gave us 1 towel. We were looking forward to using the pool and sauna but never went nest it after seeing it."
