"The breakfast gal was great. The breakfast was good. The front desk staff were pleasant. The common areas were clean. But the housekeeping staff left something to be desired. We had to insist after 3 nights that the room be cleaned. They did the minimal. In the bathroom the soap dish wasn’t cleaned; the mirror wasn’t cleaned. The towels were just plopped down. "We rented a kitchen unit for a stay in Vernon at the Best Western and I usually never review properties because I’m not picky and all properties have some faults. But this hotel was actually unsafe and one of the worst maintained properties I’ve seen in a long time. Sadly the room was actually a great size and looked somewhat newly renovated, but once we were staying in it we noted some larger issues… First and foremost the kitchen was almost completely empty.
