"Days Inn is located at the top of a hill which means great views but a long walk up! Our bedroom had a little balcony which was nice and the room was clean. Our bathroom had an open drain and did not smell great which was a downside. "Lovely hotel, great food, a good mix of western and Sri Lankan. I caved and got pasta one night and it was fantastic. They had an issue with the hot water on the roof and had to go through my room to fix it, but set me up and made me comfortable in another room for a few hours. It was no problem and I definitely feel like they handled it well.

"When you arrive the door opens to a magnificent view of the pool and the river behind it. The staff was great, the food was probably our favorite during the first part of our trip. Would highly recommend this place. Make sure to visit the Temple of the Tooth and try out some local fruits!"
