"Our stay at the Inn was wonderful, primarily because of Tammy taking such great care of us and offering fantastic suggestions on things to see and do in the local area. The room and shared spaces were immaculate and continental breakfast was a great bonus."
"This is a new place, not the historic manor we expected. It is located behind an abandoned church that appeared to be under renovation. There is only one restaurant nearby, just across the road, otherwise it feels to be in the middle of nowhere. In the check in instructions, it indicated that "the host will greet guests on arrival" but we found no one and had to call the number on the hotel sign on the roadside. It ended up being the restaurant across the road where we picked up the key, and the staff there were friendly, but knew no details about the accommodation. The whole experience felt very impersonal."
"Loved staying in a home built in 1901, with the furnishings reflecting the era. Lorraine and Greg were great hosts and directed us to many sight worthy destinations. So nice to join other travelers around the delicious breakfast table."
"I had a pleasant stay here. As a solo female traveler i felt safe and comfortable. The place is old and hasnt been updated but they've done a good job with maintaining the cleanliness. Staff was pleasant. There was a mini fridge, air dryer and microwave which was helpful. It was also really quiet unlike a lot of other placea I have stayed. I would stay here again."
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Rothesay Heritage house. The view of Harbour Grace was spectacular. The hosts, George and Lynn, greatly contributed to our great lodging experience. Lynn’s breakfast was the best! George gave us suggestions regarding where we should go and what to do there.
George entertained us with his musical talent on the piano and guitar. Our only complaint was that the bathroom was too small. I would not hesitate to recommend this B&B to others."
"Spacious room and very comfortable. While outdated, it was also somewhat rustic and quaint in its own way. The rates were excellent for this time of year. Everything was safe and secure for parking, but we did not eat there. It was an hour's drive back to St. John's for a medical appointment, so a little further than we had hoped for. Still, we found it relaxing and quiet in a beautiful and peaceful setting. "
