Charming Pension with Viennese Flair

Vic and Adi were gracious hosts, and we couldn’t be more pleased by their hospitality! All facilities and our room were well appointed, clean, and well-maintained. We loved that the design and decor was in traditional Wiener style full of charm and character. In comparison for this price at home in US we would find only bland national chain motel lacking any character or soul. Location is convenient in quiet neighborhood near but not in main busy tourist area. We took their breakfast every morning of fresh organic bread, meats and cheese, fresh fruit & juice, and cappuccino. I found Dormium based on our desired location and the many great reviews from others. We want to add our support here because Dormium truly deserve it. Nice service and accommodation.

Hotel very good located close to subway and good neighborhood. The staff was also very helpful to te plain general information not to get los and provide a number in case any problem with check in. Hardly recommended to enjoy the city.

The Hotel Pension Dormium is nice hotel despite not the easiest to find nor most accessible but the staff (Andrian) was extremely nice and very helpful and accommodating when I had a challenging moment.

Für Hausstaub(-milben)-allergiker nicht gut ...

Rezeption - sehr nett, aber praktisch nie besetzt. Zimmer nett, etwas überkommen und bedürften mehr Wartung und Pflege. Sauberkeit - naja. Die Reinigunsgkraft muss sehr klein sein, da praktisch auf jeder Oberkante eine dicke Staubschicht deutlich zu sehen war - allerdings nicht nur dort: Auch im Kleiderschrank befand sich eine dicke Staubschicht (mein schwarzer Trolly war nach dem Ablegen dort mehr grau ...). Spinnweben in den Sanitärräumen, Haare und Staub auf dem Boden ... Während meines Aufenthaltes (drei Nächtigungen) wurde der Teppichboden nie gesaugt. gratis WLAN vorhanden, aber schwache Verbindung, TV mit extra SAT-Receiver - natürlich nicht aufeinander abgestimmt und tweilw. schlechter Empfang kaputte Fensterdichtungen, abenteuerliche Jalouise, Dusche beginnt mitten in der Nacht lautstark zu tropfen Bett OK, keine Klimatisierung - aber dafür verhältnismäßig ruhiges hofseitiges Zimmer

Feine Hotelpension nahe Stadthalle

Habe wg. Konzertbesuch ein günstiges Hotel nahe Stadthalle gesucht und gefunden. Erst dann bemerkt wie klein (glaub sechs Zimmer) es ist, scheinbar Familiengeführt. Absolutes Highlight für mich die gelebte Gastfreundlichkeit, wir haben uns durch und durch willkommen gefühlt - danke dafür! Die Zimmer sind für drei Sterne anstandslos zu empfehlen, Sauberkeit wird groß geschrieben, ich hätte nicht mal ein Haar gefunden, Bad blitzblank geputzt. Gewisse Abnutzungserscheinungen gibt es, aber nichts was man bei sich zu Hause nicht auch dulden würde. Frühstück ist einfach gehalten aber wirklich lecker und vor allem FRISCH! Wurstaufschnitt, Käse (plus Mozzarella), Gurken, Tomaten, verschiedene Aufstriche, Flakes, Tee, Kaffee... und man wird gefragt ob man ein weich gekochtes Ei will :D ..habe in vielen, va. auch größeren Hotels deutlich schlechteres bekommen. Erwähnenswert auch die günstige Minibar.. 2,50 für ein Red Bull od. ein Bier ist echt human. Manko für Menschen mit leichtem Schlaf, Straßenbahn vorm Hotel.

...versteckt, aber schön!

Wir haben eine Nacht im Hotel verbracht. Zunächst skeptisch über die Lokalität ist diese durch den freundlichen Inhaber und die gemütliche Atmosphäre schnell beiseite gewischt worden. Das Hotel liegt in einem alten Wohnhaus und ist dementsprechend etwas außergewöhnlicher. Wer aber mit Bodenständigkeit und Pragmatik etwas anfangen kann wird hier sicher glücklich werden. Dazu noch der unschlagbar günstige Preis und die Gastfreundschaft!

Ett litet pensionat med ganska rymliga rum cirka 10 minuters promenad till centrum. Trevlig personal i receptionen.

Muy bien, habitación limpia, amplia, desayuno bufé y servicio estupendo. El hombre de recepción encantador. El único pero que tiene es calor en la habitación pero claro 36° en Viena no es normal.

We had a very nice stay at the Hotel Pension Dormium. It is located within 5 minute walk from the Wiener Stadthalle which was the main reason we chose this location. If you are planning to see any concerts in that hall it is a perfect spot. Room was nice and clean, friendly staff and delicious breakfast. We'll definitely come back next time we are in Vienna.
