"Staying here was an awesome experience, if even for a day. We arrived late in the evening and the owner Mario was so very accommodating and informative. We stayed in the side house, an interesting property with its centuries-old design. We could feel the history in every room. It was very comfortable, very roomy and the amenities made us feel right at home. The drive up may intimidate some (if during at night), as it winds up the mountain side, but staying there is well worth it. Thank you Mario...

"This lovely little area of Castelvetro was a pleasure to stay in! The Locanda rooms were spacious and had nice amenities for coffee and tea. The living area was a nice addition to our space with lively decor. The toilet area is small but well appointed. If you want a romantic dinner reserve a table in the wine cellar. "All the staff were brilliant. All food just the best. It has a full service restaurant on site with bar and you get anything there. Drinks, meals, snacks, souvenirs and more. The rooms are a good size and the bathroom is modern and clean. It is not a luxury hotel but it is better than a 2 star rating. Parking is totally available."
