Good for a one or two night stay, price is reasonable, the restaurant is good and the patio set up quite relaxing, the only drawback is the lack of AC in the bedroom

Good little hotel we stopped off in during a 20 hour drive. Pet friendly (€10 surcharge), decent shower, comfy bed. What more could we want? Staff were friendly 😆

Unpleasant

Dated and run down hotel. Very hot room with no fan, very noisy with window open. Shower was so crushed in limescale only 7 jets worked and the pressure was so high they felt like needles. The hairdryer didn't work at all. Only one socket, not near bed. On the plus side, good location and free parking.

I enjoyed my stay here. It was pleasant. I especially enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel is very well situated near Vilvoorde train station. I would to make a special reference to Myrna who works in the kitchen. She was very kind to me and attentive. She was nice enough to cook me some boiled eggs to my liking. Thank you to all staff I meet however, all very pleasant and professional.

No idea why Campanile is still happy to let this hotel carry their brand logo; this hotel needed some TLC probably well over 5 years ago. The bed was worn out badly, stains on the carpet, cigarette burns in the bathroom, the shower was in decay, etc., etc. The staff was OK and the location was not too bad either.

Good for the airport

The bathroom could do with updating. A simple use of the silicon gun around the bath would make it look better. And please get rid of the paper cups!! Get proper mugs for tea and coffee. Pleased there is a bath. Food was excellent but restaurant only open after 6. Excellent location for the airport and good, free parking. Have stayed before and would stay again. Not much choice of food places nearby.

Excellent, would stay here again

the staff here were fabulous and went out of their way to be helpful. I would definitely stay here again as they were so good. Also, plenty of free parking outside the Hotel. The rooms are a bit dated, particularly the bathrooms but it does have everything you need, fabulous water pressure in particular. I don't like paper cups - would be better to have china cups and wash them up - instead of just throwing away the paper ones and the silly 'stirring sticks'. The location of the Hotel is perfect for access to the airport and in my case, my trip to Antwerp University for work.

It was an okay place. Pros: well located. It’s right next to Vilvoorde station which is quite convenient and also near the airport. In terms of quality though, the room rugs were very dirty, the room was cold with no obvious way to increase temperature and the phone did not work. The bed and blanket was fine. The bathroom did not have shampoo either. Overall, I did not have a good experience. The noise level at the property was also very high. Half of the morning, doors banging noise was happening around, the noise of dragging furniture from the surrounding was also quite loud in the room.

Good stay but double check booking and payment!

I've stayed at this generally friendly hotel several times for business and would be happy to return. No-nonsense but usually quiet and comfortable despite being in need of a refurb. Alarmingly, this time hotel could not find my booking (I had cancelled and rebooked straight away after a glitch) but did find me a room. There was also confusion about the bill for restaurant meals (two colleagues' meals were charged to my room despite each giving their room number) which fortunately was resolved at check-out.

Hotel in great location, close to motorway, & airport, reception ok, rooms could do with complete referb, very hot small room, had to have window open all night, not great as close proximity to trains & airport. Filthy carpets, mouldy bathroom ceiling. few spiders lots of cobwebs, would'nt stay here again.

We chose this property due to proximity to airport and price. Being close to the airport was great because we had to be there at 4 AM. The lobby was ok, but the rest of the property is run down and smells like stale smoke in the halls. Then we didn't have hot water, which was a big disappointment. Front desk staff gave a weak apology and said he was aware and had reported it to management. No offer to try to make restitution. We needed a code to get out of the parking lot, which wasn't made clear at check in, so we had to go back in to get it so we could leave.

Decent price, but unclean and noisy

The employees are very helpful and positive. They are a stellar team! Unfortunately, this does not make up for the state of the hotel. I was disappointed when I got to my room, to find the sink clogged, several lights in the bathroom out, and the door lock not working properly. Of course, this made me anxious as a solo female traveler. I reported this and they did take care of the issues in decent amount of time. However, there was a large dog beneath my room barking for about 30 minutes straight. I went to the front desk to tell them and they moved my room for me to a quieter one, which was much appreciated. Overall though, the carpets are caked with strange stains, the bathrooms and old and there is mold growing on the ceilings, and the doors are so heavy that they slam when they shut, and the can easily hear this from the other guests. The elevator was also out during my stay, which poses a problem if you have heavy luggage or are disabled. I would not recommend if you would like to feel clean and safe. It’s unfortunate because the service was so great.
