Nice apartment if not a little lacking in facilities. Lovely quiet pool. Nothing in the town nearby and quite a drive from other areas and the coast. Great place for a big party though !!

Great stay for a week, excellent location both for the beach and town, shops and restaurants. All within walking distance. Welcoming staff, clean, tidy. Great breakfast! Helpful with parking. All in all, what you want from a hotel stay.

There were 4 of us visiting our boss who's lived in Competa for 29 years, they recommend the Balcon de competa hotel which we found very good, if we were being picky it was a little 'tired' but the staff, the food, the cleanliness made up for everything, we had a great holiday and hope to return in the near future.

Wonderful apartment - spotlessly clean, spacious, gorgeous view, parking outside and fabulous pool. Location good - beaches nearby, within walking distance.

Loved the hotel, its position, room, decor, locality, staff, terrace, pool. Just a couple of observations: 1. In room tea/coffee supplies not replenished. 2. Hot breakfast often wasn't. 3. TV channels (although we watch little anyway) __ a bizarre selection. Weather was great.

The Gran Hotel Miramar is a lovely luxurious hotel . Rooms are a good size. Beds comfortable.Swimming pool & beach are spacious with lots of sun beds. Breakfasts are very good & service at Breakfast first class. We enjoyed our stay very much

Arrived at 9am the owner was very gracious and let us check in . Very impressed with the room, big space lovely big terrace and had all the utensils and cooking items you could possibly want 300 m to the best beach in Nerja and only a 15 min stroll to the centre Will definitely be staying here again For the price you can't go wrong folks

Perfect

I cannot fault the hotel in any way, especially the cleanliness of rooms etc. Very nice buffet breakfast which can be eaten out on the terrace, quality and choice of food was very good. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We will certainly be returning.

The location was near the bus station & a good bakery & large supermarket. Abril is modern with pleasing decor, good quality & appealing fixtures & furniture. I liked my double room & it wasn't noisy. The owner was always helpful & pleasant I would defnitely recommend the accommodation.

Amazing views and breakfast. Room was spacious, staff in the bar were slow

We both enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was clean and had all we needed in terms of being able to cook for ourselves. It was a comfortable and welcoming place. We had some great views of sunrises and sunsets, very good for Londoners deprived of sunlight! We also slept with the sound of the sea in our ears. The room was overheated (in a very cold January) but the heating controls worked fine and I was able to adjust it to our liking. Bed could have been more comfortable but was...

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful .The rooms are very well equipped and clean and the bed is so comfortable that we slept well every night . There is a good selection of food at breakfast which set us up well for a day of sightseeing. The hotel is well placed for the city centre with good access to the main tourist spots. The ancient walls beneath the hotel have been beautifully preserved and make an interesting feature .

Fantastic

I thought the staff made us feel very welcome, with great food and service, we are returning next year.Thank you

The restaurant is a hidden gem and location of property ideal

Great location and value hotel. The rooms and hotel are immaculate, well decorated and comfortable. Breakfast has everything you could wish for. All of the staff and concierge team from morning to night are lovely, can't do enough for you. Will most definatly return!
