"This hotel in the Douro Valley was a complete surprise-breathtaking scenery all around with walking access to the vineyards. It had a beautiful chapel onsite and indoor sauna and steam room as well as small indoor and outdoor rooftop pools. Amazing!"

"Our stay at this Duoro Valley wine estate was the absolute perfect way to relax and unwind after a fast paced tour of Portugal’s coastal cities. From the moment we arrived, the exceptional hospitality and incredibly helpful staff made us feel entirely at home. The property itself is visually spectacular, offering stunning, postcard ready views from every corner - whether lounging by the pool, dining at the restaurant, or relaxing on your hotel room balcony. The self guided audio walking tours around the vast estate were fantastic, allowing us to discover the historic vineyards at our own pace while stretching our legs. The on site wine tasting was a true highlight, while also having access to a scenic river boat tour right from the estate’s private dock on the river was incredibly convenient. Every morning started with a delicious, high quality, included breakfast spread. The dinners were absolutely awesome, showcasing fresh, flavorful, local dishes. If you are looking for an immersive, deeply relaxing vineyard getaway with world class scenery and top tier service, this property is an absolute dream."

"The property was nice with wonderful spa options. However, the rooms seemed a bit dated and certainly didn’t feel like a five star surroundings. However, the staff and daily breakfast were wonderful!"

"You simply pay for the views at this hotel. There are no frills outside of that (which was fine for my stay) the rooms had AC which was great. The staff was nice but it seems they were understaffed and simple requests took longer than other hotels I stayed at in Portugal. The buffet breakfast was convenient as there aren’t many food choices in the area to go to. I would go back simply because of the views and the relaxing property!"

"My family and I had a fantastic 3-night stay at Delfim Douro Hotel. The room was immaculate, spacious, and featured a very comfortable bed with high-end linens. Every one room with a cute balcony. The front desk representative went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome. Breakfast had a great variety of fresh options to start the day with a good mood. Dining at our hotel was a delightful experience from start to finish. The food was exceptional, the staff was attentive and kind. The elegant atmosphere provided the perfect setting for a relaxed evening. The location of the Hotel is unbeatable. Wonderful viewing the beauty of Nature we were admiring from the terrace and balcony. The way the colors blend into each other is spectacular; it looks like a painting. We had an unforgettable experience and will absolutely be staying here again."
