I thought that was a nice touch. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evening with one of their fabulous aperitivo cocktails and watching the cats play. The dinner was a fixed menu. "Very friendly reception by owner, Piero. Large comfortable room in private home on semi rural property a few kilometers outside Modica. Amazing breakfasts with local products and home made jams and cakes. Free security parking in front of building. Very nice lounge area with sofa and TV. Piero and Giussi (sp?) were always ready to give help and suggestions for the area."

"This was our second time staying at Locanda Gulfi and we enjoyed our visit thoroughly. We included a wine tasting and ate dinner at the hotel so it was almost 24 hours of relaxation and enjoyment where we did not leave the vineyard grounds at all. The pool is gorgeous and the staff are warm and courteous. Highly recommend during a month when you are able to enjoy the pool!"
