"Room had problem with water. Only hot water available from sink and tub. We were given a different room. The area didn’t feel safe enough to walk to nearby restaurants. The hotel felt rundown and not very clean."

"All that was available at 6:30 was coffee and stale sweet rolls. Finally as we were leaving the staff was putting food out. Don’t advertise for 6:30 if 7 is when it’s ready. We had to request towels and toilet paper since the room hadn’t been restocked before we checked in. We have stayed here multiple times but will not stop here again "

"This was our second time staying at The Monterey, and we were in town for a concert. The staff was extremely kind and helpful with anything that we needed, and the property was in great condition! Our room was nice and clean when we walked in after a long travel day and was the perfect place to relax. The bar was great, and the parking was relatively easy.
