"La Plume was gorgeous-the best place that we stayed during our journey of the Garden Route. The suites were so nicely appointed and super spacious. The breakfast was delicious and we were disappointed that we missed dinner (it was only a 3-course meal). C est un très bel endroit situé tout proche de la ferme Highgate où l on peut voir les autruches.
Sur l hôtel, l endroit est très calme et agréable et derrière l hébergement, on peut également observer les autruches. Les restaurant propose également d excellents plats et le buffet du petit déjeuner est excellent."

The first thing that greeted us was the beautiful grounds, and restaurant with a stunning view of the mountain. Then we saw a beautiful historic house with a big old stoep; here we enjoyed 3 very comfortable rooms. And let me not forget the kind and professional staff, including their head chef who made the most wonderful 3 course dinner! A gem! Thank you for a lovely stay. "

"Wonderful experience from start to finish. Beautiful surroundings and wonderful food. Hotel staff were always friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our chats with Theo and Grant. Our booked Meerkat experience was cancelled due to heavy rain but Theo offered to rearrange that for the following morning - and we are so glad not to have missed that! Grant was a wonderful young man - extremely patient with my husband’s beer selection and very helpful with advice on places to visit.
