Best location, step out the front door and it’s like you’re in a medieval story and back in time. So much character and feel. Hotel was clean and reasonably priced. The owners were so nice and helpful with anything we needed. Definitely would stay again and highly recommend. Research the parking before arrival to save you walking too far. Hotel is in the ZTL Zone but worth it.

We cannot say enough good things about this hotel because everything exceeded our expectations. They truly embody the art of hospitality. The owners referred to us by name which made it feel very personal and intimate. The decor in the rooms is artistic. The breakfast offerings were varied ranging from delicious coffee, quiches, a range of pastries to yogurt and all the toppings. They even helped with luggage upon arrival and departure. This is a true gem!,

Perfectly located within the Old Town. Lovely couple who manage the Hotel with friendly staff all around that were responsive and helpful in all facets of our stay. Room was spotlessly cleaned daily. Breakfast was much appreciated too.

This is a wonderful place to stay while in Volterra, very ** sweet place. The breakfast was by far the best one so far for us from Rome, Florence to Volterra! They also have a very nice cafe/bar up on the roof. 5* for sure!

A wonderful experience. The room was quaint, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent much more than expected. The family and staff were lovely and the location was fantastic. Right in the heart of the city, in the fortress, felt very safe and was quiet. I would stay here again

The staff were wonderful. The hotel provided a fantastic breakfast with lots of choice. The hotel is in one of the main streets so very handy to see the sights and explore and close to many restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
