"The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and friendly. The hot continental breakfast and inground pool were very nice extras. The view is spectacular.
Only downsides were it was a bit loud being right on Cabot Trail, the air conditioner was old and noisy, and the room had a very strong smell of cleaner the whole time we were there. Some of the deck furniture was in a bit of disrepair and could use updating.
Overall a nice place to stay!"

The experience the second night was the opposite- updated room, clean, comfortable beds, great in-room coffee, same...
"Our stay was very enjoyable - rooms were clean and beds were comfortable - the view from the hotel was awesome - there was a quaint old world feel to it - very nice!"
"We stayed in an upgraded room in the top building, it was spacious and well appointed. It’s an excellent location to walk around Baddeck’s Main Street, restaurants & shops, play pool at the Legion, and not far to walk to the waterfront boardwalk and wharf.

We have stayed there many many times, and look forward our to future stays."

When we arrived on the property to check in we noticed that the domes were right off the main highway. As we drove into register at the office we noticed a stretch of doors and realized these were the bathrooms. Each unit did not in fact have a bathroom, it was common bathrooms that were not very inviting. Also the walk to these in the dark would...
