"Very old and dated for the price. Mattress was rock hard and pillows paper thin and lots of weird smells wafted into our room. There were a couple of used facecloths that hadn’t been removed during cleaning. Front desk staff was nice though."

"Beautiful location and nice home. I wasn't sure what to expect as I had only stayed in one other B&B previously. I was a little uncomfortable and felt like I was intruding in their personal space for the most part. In my previous experience there were common rooms that you were invited to use and socialize but that is not available here. The private bathroom didn't have a window covering which I thought was a bit strange and uncomfortable. Perhaps there was a film on the window that...

"He photos are misleading - one feels they are renting a beautiful retreat. It isn’t. The cottage is run down, with a large burn on the dining room table, holes in the sitting room ottoman, and a worn out couch that we all found incredibly uncomfortable. Lack of comfortable seating was the worst part of the stay - either one sits on the worn out couch, or the hard dining room table chairs.
