"The hotel itself was gorgeous. A big shout out for Katie, the charming, smiling young waitress for whom nothing was too much trouble. Excellent customer service skills. Thanks Katie. However, OUTSIDE we were appalled to see 12 rat poison bait boxes in the immediate vicinity of reception. Rat poison is lethal to anything that then eats the dead rat, including owls, foxes, cats and dogs. It’s a slow and agonising death- cruel in the extreme. A rat actually sat in the middle of the road for 5 mins...
