"Everything is always awesome when I visit. It's a "staycation" for me to get away from the busyness of life and enjoy a restful and quiet place of refuge.
Having said that, the hotel periodically books with guests there to attend sports tournaments. Of course, many of the guests include children. My concern is that some are unsupervised and constantly run back and forth in the corridors on the floor above and the floor as my same room. I was awakened by the running in the mornings and experienced an interruption of sleep at night. Additionally, the floors and elevators were wet from some of the children entering and exiting the pool without drying off prior to entering the hotel. While housekeeping worked diligently to keep the floors dry, it appeared difficult for them to keep up because of this avoidable ongoing occurrence. Moreover, the constant presence of water on uncarpeted flooring areas presents a fall risk to all guests.
One of the primary reasons for choosing Springhill is because of the "no pets allowed" policy. As such, my other area of concern is the increased presence of "service animals" in the hotel. While I do understand the much needed assistance service dogs provide, it is questionable that they could all truthfully be categorized as service animals. Service animals are highly trained and it is obvious. However, the service animals observed appeared to behave more like family pets.
Nonetheless, I have remained pleased with each stay."
