"A great little place. I’d enjoyed a stay here one time before—on a Monday night. This time it was a Wednesday so The Laurel was open! I checked in at 7:45 so only 15 minutes before closing. I walked down the stairs, they gave me a table, I had a fantastic cocktail and very very tasty steak bites with nice accompaniment. "The room and the check in were not like the pictures shown. The room was clean but dated. The sheet were worn and the towels thin. The property was in a sketchy area. Otherwise, the room was warm and cozy. Would I stay there again? No, but it works for those with a tight budget"

"This lodge is amazing! They are pet friendly with spacious rooms and the caretakers, Tara and Jacob are friendly and welcoming. The view from the property is beautiful and wildlife abundant in all directions. We will definitely book this lodge again when we travel back to the area. "
