"Wow! An amazing experience at a beautiful property, with outstanding service. We stayed for 2 nights at the end of our travels in NZ, and this was truly the highlight of our trip. The setting is stunning, the food is outstanding, and the room is beautiful. But the staff are what make the place really special. Over the years, we have stayed in excellent hotels around the world, and this one ranks among the best. Exclusive, exquisite, and refined. Highly recommended."

"The ground and buildings look good - feels like you’re in a Swiss resort. Staff nice enough. Breakfast very average though. Had to pay $15 per day for parking which is expensive. It’s a hotel that gets large bus groups through so can be noisy. "

"Stunning views, beautiful location although a bit out of town, easy quick drive though. Slow wifi although better if you’re in reception. No smart tv or streaming which was rough with the kids as theois no abc kids or kids channel. Hotel is a bit dated. "

"I stay at this hotel about seven times a year. In a nice quiet area and in walking distance to the shopping mall where there is a New World grocery store and Harvey Norman. (8 minute walk) A few cafés and miscellaneous stores.(beauty salon, etc) Bus runs all day long till late evening to take you on the 7 mile journey up to City Centre Queenstown."

"Rooms were clean and comfortable. Very convenient to town centre. Breakfast was a bit basic but easy if that’s what you want. No cooking facility so great for a couple of nights or if you eat out."

"Great place to stay - we went with our 2 year old which can always be challenging but the staff were all so friendly and accomodating. We had a suite which was really spacious and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Novotel Queenstown Lakeside overall. The room was cared for daily with clean towels(if needed) and bed made. The hotel itself is situated at the edge of the lake by a wonderful botanical garden. The staff was welcoming and helpful. We didn't need to interact with desk help much after check-in. definitely a great recommendation for staying in Queenstown."

"Very short stroll to town, staff were accommodating. Would have been nice if there was a bar fridge but we were allowed to use the office fridge so no dramas. Good value for money."

"Location is picturesque with magnificent views, close to town and easily accessible from all directions. It is built on several levels on a site situated on a steep hill so luggage has to be carried up or down stairs to some units from reception &/or the car park - not a problem for many but perhaps a consideration for some. My wife & I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly book again when in Queenstown."
