"Staff were very friendly, clean big room however it was next to the main entrance on the ground floor so very noisy I had a child kicking a foot ball against the wall for ages. Good parking "

"Hotel is very tired and in need of some serious modernisation - the bathroom particularly - the shower pressure was low and the temperature was hot, or hot. not great for £90 a night"

"Victoria Lodge is a fantastic place to stay...the location in the middle of Stockton Heath couldn't be more convenient for numerous pubs, restaurants, a variety of shops, Alexander Park and Walton Gardens. There are all kinds of opportunities for walks nearby (public footpaths through the Cheshire countryside, the tow path of the Bridgewater Canal and the Trans Pennine Way). Paul, the hotel owner, is incredibly accommodating and helpful, and he cooks the most amazing full English breakfast which is included with the accommodation. Highly recommended."

"Stay here almost every working week of the year and perfect for what we need. "

"Air conditioning did not work but the room was really hot, you couldn't open the windows apart from a crack due to safety locks so hotel room was really hot. Building works on my floor so the area smelt of paint, coming down the stairs from floor 2 the paint isn't finished off needs all cutting in. "

"Nice quirky hotel, stylishly done out. Great for a couples night away. The simple check in process and key lock is really cool and makes it simple. Can’t fault the place. Only suggested improvements are 1. Add a coffee machine to rooms. Instant granules don’t match the styling. 2. Couple of bottles of water in fridge would be a nice touch"
