"Fantastic location in Washington MO. Our go to place for a quick escape from stress. Rooms ate spacious, clean, and close to the downtown riverfront."
"was remote, close to tourist areas, clean. excellent breakfast provided with room.
only problem was loud guests in hallways when we were trying to sleep."
"Wasn’t terrible just smaller than expected and no breakfast offered. Wasn’t in the greatest area either seemingly. Will be staying at River sirens for similar price "
"The free breakfast was excellent. We are taking a roadtrip from CA to FL, and this is the best breakfast out of 8 hotels so far. The pillows were perfect - not over- filled, really comfortable. "

Stroll along the historic riverfront where local shops and the Missouri River create a perfect small-town afternoon. Climb aboard the old-fashioned trolley for a tour of brick buildings dating to the 1800s and wineries dotting the surrounding hills.
Excellent local dining options, just wish they would stay open later (esp. ice cream places - I miss Patke's!) Lots of history and convenient walking trails and parks. Always hate to leave.

Washington is a lovely town with lots of activities. It's also close to the Shaw Nature Reserve and Endangered Wolf Center.

Visit the restaurants and bars in the "downtown" river front area if you get a chance - parking is free and the food and drink are good too!
