For the room rate paid, I was dismayed over the answer I received inquiring what was the earliest I could check in arrived after 12 noon). The response was that I would be charged $40 to do so. Embassy Suites by Hilton Alexandria Old Town
I was hoping for a shuttle, but we called ahead and were told there was no shuttle that ran from the airport. It was easy to get on and off the Metro, so it was not an inconvenience.
