It was a shame there was building work going on so the gardens were noisy with construction materials. But once inside the apartment it was great. The four flights of stairs were not ideal. Breakfast was different each day, featuring Thai home-cooked dishes you wouldn’t find in restaurants.
Located at the edge of Chinatown, the area has an authentic, lived-in feel.
One minor issue is that while normal walking doesn’t cause noise, heavy stomping can be quite audible.
Outside noise is noticeable, but as traffic decreases from midnight to early morning, it didn’t affect our sleep.
