"From even before our arrival Nicolas messaged me to give information. At the suites he welcomed us and showed the suite with explanation of every amenities and also described the building history. Just amazing to live in a building from the 14th century, but with all the modern appliances you have in your own home. It is a fusion from the mediaeval times to the present day and it works like I've never seen before! Top score! 10/10"

"This hotel is ideally situated near to the Grote Markt and Cathedral. It is in a handsome old building, which has a peaceful central courtyard for sitting in (to cool down in summer? - we were here in autumn, so didn't need it but it would be delightful were one to need a rest from sightseeing). The interior has been tastefully modernised. Because the building is listed, no lift has been installed (no problem for us, who are keen walkers). "The room and design was lovely. Bar really nice. Downside was sound travel from next door room and payment for sauna required so not really an amenity. Towels could do with a refresh. They are a little grey. If you like design led hotels this is great a really unique place. "
