"Parking was safe and gated, very easy to check in and our $150 deposit was returned quickly. The staff was phenomenal especially the bartender (I forget her name but she was absolutely delightful) and gave us wonderful recommendations. We enjoyed late night snack of the chicken dumplings which were superb!
The room was clean. We didn't have any noise issues as others advised in the reviews, so for us this was a non issue. (stayed Thurs and Fri in August)
The jacuzzi suite was nice but to be fair its for one person or two thinnish not tall people uncomfortably, however, the water was hot, the tub was clean, the jets worked and it was enjoyable to use.
The hotel overall is nice and in a great location.
Air conditioning units could use a good look over or extra love. They work enough to keep your room comfortable but not overly cold. A few items you could tell needed some additional review; the light had weird paint spots on it, the wall had a few scuff marks, the art decor was small and didn't make sense for the room, and no one has used paint tape when touching up previous mistakes. These things didn't bother us because we were not expecting some upscale high end brand new hotel. We were hoping for a clean bed, a clean shower and bathroom, somewhere to lay our heads, grab a drink at the end of the night and Trumbull and Porter did exactly that. Would go back for another visit and would recommend.
