"I loved this hotel, especially for the cost per night. The breakfast buffet was great with tons of options, like a full-service restaurant. The front desk staff were amazing and the customer service was on point. They have a small laundry room and vending area, and everything is functional. The small gym is a little dated, but it is usable. The parking garage is great, too. I will definitely stay here again when I come to St. Louis!"

"There is a parking ramp right next to it, so your car isn’t out in the open and there is plenty of parking. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. They have a wider variety of food for breakfast. We left for home before 6:00 and the gal at the restaurant asked if we wanted any breakfast even though it officially didn’t start until 6:30. The rooms were quiet too."

"The guy at the reception was polite—that was the only good thing. The elevator was straight out of a horror movie, and the floor was so sticky that your shoes would get stuck to it. "The facility charges for everything. Including water and parking, even though there is plenty of parking space outside in their open parking lot. They do not provide complimentary water upon you checking in. The staff are demonstrating behavior like those running a night shift at a remote gas station. Their breakfast options are horrible."

"The Cheshire is an interesting experience. It is definitely one-of-a-kind. The problem is that the rooms are outdated. The a/c in my room was very loud. The ceiling tiles were dirty. The walls are very thin and I could hear everything the neighbor was saying. The pool is nice but is loud if your room faces it. Parking is convenience. Breakfast is average hotel continental breakfast - nothing special. The pub is cool. The place needs a refresh and an update, which can be accomplished while...

"Staff were great. This is an older hotel that was very busy with families. Reasonably priced with good food options if traveling with kids. Personally I would not stay here again."

"The hotel met our needs. Clean, friendly staff, pool, and warm breakfast. Things to improve, many items outdated. Light fixtures, rust in bathroom sinks, and bedding pillows rather flat. Hotel needs to invest in some upgrades to remain competitive with others, as seeing the outdated, I'd rather pay the $20 more per night and go down the street to the nicer updated hotel. Hoping management improves and stays in the game!"
