Absolutely wonderful stay in the Wellington countryside. Perfectly located for winelands touring. Outstanding staff and facilities. On site, multi-course dinners were absolutely brilliant and worthy of a Michelin star. Bravo to the chef, kitchen and wait staff. We cannot wait to return!

Peace and relaxation in beautiful surroundings

After unloading our bags our car was parked up for us on arrival, and returned to the front steps 3 days later ready to load our bags. Everything we wanted was there at the hotel, the beautiful food at breakfast and dinner, spacious grounds and a gorgeous pool and poolside, inviting lounges and terrace, and access to beautiful walks in the mountains. The was no need for the car! Tina and Angelo made staying at Grand Dedale very easy - nothing we asked for was difficult, they were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful, whilst at the same time giving us the space to enjoy our holiday. Everyone at the hotel was prepared to go the extra step to make our stay more comfortable - an impressive team. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed and are already planning our return visit.

Paradise in Wellington

we had the most incredible stay at Grand Dedale Country House and only wish were were there longer. The house itself was amazing but the service was what stood Grand Dedale apart! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed in almost as family. We will definitely be back!

A secluded location for this magnificent historical house is just the perfect frame for a great stay. Everything is just a lot better than what we have seen on the pictures. The warm welcome and the smooth service does the rest. A place not to be missed

Lyx på herrgård med förstklassig service!

Beautiful Hotel on Wine Estate

Very comfortable hotel in a lovely setting. With only 6 rooms it felt very exclusive, and we were very well looked after by a friendly team. Excellent food and wine.

Idillic Setting

Stayed just the one night during our drive from Knysna to St Helena Bay. Stayed in the Garden Cottage, which was a magnificent converted barn, a huge room with a mezzanine level bedroom. Exceptional living space, with a full private out door veranda overlooking the grass paddock. The evening, valentines day was enjoyed on the hotel veranda were cox tails & canapés were serverd prior to diner, which was also served outside on the veranda. An excellent stay, which we regretted wasn't a little long at this outstanding boutique hotel

Bästa hotellet!

Det här var andra gången vi bodde på detta underbara boutique hotell. Angelo och Tina som driver detta ställe tillsammans med personal är riktiga proffs när det kommer till service, mat och allt annat man kan önska. Bode våra vistelser har vi stannat tre nätter och varit så sjukt nöjda med hela vistelsen. Kan varmt rekommendera detta ställe för den som vill ha LYX på landet... räkna med att stanna på detta ställe för middag på kvällarna och köra lunchutflykter bland vinlandskapen. Ligger som sagt en bit utanför det mesta, men vad gör det när allt man vill ha finns på plats! :-)

Magiskt countryhouse med utmärkt service!

Det här var det bästa stället vi någonsin bott på. Vi reser en hel del och har bott på många hotell av varierande klass. Vi säger bara WOW, för det är precis vad allt med detta underbara ställe är! Under våra 16 dagar i Sydafrika var detta höjdpunkten och vi kommer garanterat att åka tillbaka hit. Ligger lite avsides, men tack vare deras goda kök så gör det inget och man stannar gärna kvar för lunch och middag. Vill ni göra utflykter till vingårdar rekommenderar jag att boka något närmare Stellenbosch och franschoeck för att spara detta till de nätter/dagar ni bara vill koppla av i en fantastisk miljö!!!

Ett en pärla mitt i vinlandskapet

Utanför staden Wellington, långt in i vinlandskapet ligger det här fantastiska hotell. Hit åker man om man vill ha avskildhet, närhet till naturen och möjlighet att koppla av. Detta fick vi verkligen under de två nätter vi stannade här. Angelo som driver hotellet med sin fru gjorde allt för att vi skulle få en fantastisk vistelse och gav oss all den service man kan förvänta sig plus lite till! Rummet var fantastiskt inrett, allt var rent och fräscht. Frukosten vi fick var av mycket hög kvalitet. Vi åt även middag på hotellet som var jättebra, det enda som jag skulle tillägga där är att efterrätten var för söt för min smak. Vi avslutade vår tio dagar långa semester på Grand Dédale och jag kommer definitivt att återvända när tillfälle ges!
